Steve Dorsey

Steve Dorsey began his business career in the dog-eat-dog world of new automobile sales. The sales and business lessons came hard and fast, where they were learned and applied or you were done.

After a couple of years Steve had learned plenty about business strategies that worked and ones that didn’t. At this point he accepted a new position as a manager of an industrial staffing company. It was during this tenure that Steve became exposed to NLP and the possibilities that it promised. Steve devoured every book, tape program, and seminar he could get his hands on and began to apply NLP principles to his personal and professional life. The results were more than Steve had ever expected.

After three years of building the struggling staffing agency into a multi-million dollar enterprise, Steve had an opportunity to stay home and raise his new-born twins for two years. It was during this time that Steve learned some of the most important management lessons of his life. The pillars of gratitude, understanding, and patience became the foundation of Steve’s philosophy from then on.

In 2000, Steve got back into business by accepting a recruiting position with a construction-related staffing firm. He was promoted to General Manager of his local office in 2005. In 2007, Steve’s office achieved the status of being number one in the company in gross sales, net income and gross profit percentage. For this amazing achievement Steve was presented with the President’s Award.
